Gustar
Gustar means "to like". Gustar is used when you want to say that a person likes something or someone, not to love, as that is a different verb.
Gusta is used for:
1: showing that a person likes a person
2: showing that a person likes an item
3: showing that a person likes an activity
1: showing that a person likes a person
2: showing that a person likes an item
3: showing that a person likes an activity
Spanish verbs like Gusta or Gustan need to be conjugated to be used properly. A conjugation is a change in a verb that fits the identity of the person being given the action.
Gustar is special, as the pronouns yo, tú, él, ella, Ud., nosotros, vosotros, ellos, ellas, and Uds. are replaced with me, te, le, nos, os, and les.
Also, gusta does not become gustan when the number of persons who like something becomes plural, it changes to gustan when the number of items liked becomes plural. (see examples below)
